The Price Painting

Tom Lea, oil on canvas, 1944

The above painting touches our heart as it shows the ill effects of war and the sufferings of an army soldier. Tom Lea has painted this master piece by the name "The Price" in the year of 1944, at the time of world war to make human race realize what kind of trouble they have got themselves into. This is an oil painting done on a canvas sheet and the colors used look much natural like the green color used for soldier's army suit, red used to depict blood stains, light brown used to indicate soldier's arms etc. On the whole the picture looks very real and touching thereby stole my heart for sure...
